1. Writing a scientific article is important for English education students because it trains us to think critically, organize ideas logically, and express arguments using academic language. It also helps us engage with current research trends in language teaching and learning. Publishing an article allows us to contribute to the field, share our insights, and develop our academic credibility as future educators and researchers.
2. I used the Elsevier Journal Finder to look for journals related to English language education and teaching methodologies. It was useful because I could input the title and abstract of my topic, and the tool suggested journals that matched the scope and keywords of my research.
3. Find two or more journal articles on the same topic. Compare and find what similarities or differences did you notice in their structure or style.
I found two journal articles on the topic of “Using technology in English language teaching.”
4. Reading journal articles helps me improve my academic writing by exposing me to examples of formal structure, academic vocabulary, and citation styles. I learn how researchers frame research problems, connect theory to practice, and present their findings logically. Over time, I become more aware of how to organize my own writing, build coherent arguments, and use evidence effectively.Marisya Rahmawati_22220109
1. Topic is a how to improve speaking skill The topic I read was about how to hone English speaking skills. I read it two days ago and found it on Google Scholar. It focused more on how we can hone our English speaking skills to make it easier and use supporting media such as social media.
2. Present arguments that are easy to understand, especially for junior high and high school students, using media that people often use nowadays. -
