1.I recently read an article entitled “The Correlation Between Students’ Vocabulary Mastery and Their Reading Comprehension Ability” last month. I accessed it through Google Scholar and downloaded the full text from an academic journal website. The article discussed how students’ vocabulary knowledge influences their ability to understand reading passages.
While reading it, I felt both interested and challenged. The topic was relevant to my studies in English education, and it helped me understand the strong connection between vocabulary size and reading comprehension. However, some parts were a bit difficult to follow because of the academic language and statistical explanations used in the methodology section.
2.In my opinion, the experience was memorable because the article gave me new insights into how vocabulary learning can directly affect reading skills. It was also challenging due to the complex structure and data analysis, which required careful reading and interpretation.
